The Triad is also home to two Amtrak Train stations. You can connect to Amtrak at the Greensboro Galyon Depot using GTA and PART Express or the High Point Station using High Point Transit and PART Express. PART Express Route 5 also provides special bus service from the High Point Station to Downtown Winston-Salem 7 days a week. The NC By Train Last Mile Program allows train passengers a free ride on transit to get to their final destination.
PART promotes and encourages the use of these stations to help reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality. There are many stations across the Triad and some PART even helped secure funding and helped with installation. View the Electric Vehicle Charging Stations page for more information and to see a map of locations.
