The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation, which provides bus, shuttle and vanpool services throughout the Triad, has begun a new program designed to help businesses make it easier for employees to get to and from work.

PART's new "PARTnership" program aims to assist companies with arranging everything from vanpools and carpools to emergency rides home for employees who work overtime. It is already working with Greensboro-based yarn maker Unifi on arranging a vanpool service for employees who work at the company's Yadkinville facility. Read the full article.
